Probably because it is the cheapest catback you can buy, well at least it was a few years ago. It doesnt sound bad but the tips are hideous so for now I am going to just replace the tips with some stainless steel duals. I have the LM1 on my SS and I love it but I want to finish my other car so once the suspension is on that will be the majority of it for a little bit anyway LOL. with 3 toys i just wish i had more money

Yeah...at first I like the flowmaster...then I ditched it and got the lm1 and loved it...then I went to a few car shows and damm near everyone are running tds, duals were the lm1 but alittle meaner with no rasp..So I had to get duals. I should've did it right the first time. Anyways congrats man, it looks really good and you can't beat a new paint job.

I may run duals on my 98, and may eventually put a different exhaust on the black car. Thanks bro, yea the car needs a little work but for what I paid for the car and the paint job I'm not in it too much......not yet anyway

He did a great job and for all the extra's he did I think it was a bargain.
That is a very good deal...up here, I'd be lucky to find anything under 5500$..

Car looks great!

Thanks bro I am very happy with it. It is a very good deal and the guy did it right, he pulled the hood, bumpers, lights, all weather strip and the wing off the spoiler. The guy works for a dealer in the body shop and he does it on the side so I got a great deal, plus I give him other work with my other cars so it works out for him.

thanks
Honeslty I dont know, a friend of mine put them on after the painter was done with the car. They are actual 19" Vette wheels and he used adapters to get them to fit. It will be interesting to see how it looks once the car is lowered as I have new shocks and strano springs waiting to go on.
What sucks is that I didnt know how those wheels would look on the car and he will sell them to me for less then it cost me for my new rims and having them painted. The tires on them are brand new and wheels only have about 6k on them.

Nice looking ride, man. I really love how those wheels look on the car, and the matching accents are the icing on the cake. Congrats, man.

I will post some up, waiting for the car back right now. It is back with the painter right now getting the jambs done and some other cyber grey accents but once I get them on I'll post some pics.

Car looks sweet!

I think you just helped me on deciding to get the Black Bird stripes. Those are matte black right?

Actually those are a GM color called cyber grey. It's deceiving because it is brighter towards the front of the hood and fades out the closer it gets to the cowl. They were painted on, there is a pic in this thread of the rear bumper that was done in cyber as well so you can get a better idea of how the color looks.
