I'm with this guy and everyone else. No sense in kicking a dead horse. They're fine. I've had four fourth gens and battled this on every single one. When it comes down to it unless you are the only person to jack up the car from here on out it's a waste of energy to sweat it. Eventually someone is going to jack it up and the plastic tab is going to break. Best solution I have is to run a screw up though the bottom into the rocker under the side skirt. May sound shade tree or jack leg but its very easy for a tech in a hurry to slide a jack in the wrong spot or kick a lift leg under it without thinking.
