Default Fixing a HEAVILY oxidized test panel!

Here's a write up from our friends at Adam's Australia:

Hello Ladies and Gentleman,

Some of you may have seen a recent post of mine regarding a hood/bonnet found at a local Wrecker.

The back story can be found here: Adam's Polishes Results - Adam's Polishes Forums

Mook asked if I had taken pictures of the process and I did, so here they are.

Wow I need to know how. My car looks 1000 times better than this, and I'd consider a re paint cause I had no idea it could be brought back.

The comparison looks great, but not really fair because that is clearly single stage paint. If you polish a newer car and see color on the pad, you messed up big time. Of course you can bring back a single stage paint that looks that bad as long as there is enough paint. If it were base coat/clear coat (BC/CC) paint that looked like that dull, it's highly doubtful it could be salvaged. More than likely has clear coat failure or on the verge of it.
