Oh, sub frame connectors. Yes, they do make a huge difference, I put them on my '92 with T-tops, but there is still going to be more flex compared to a hard top with sfc's.

I plan on eventually putting in a full cage, 12 point I believe it's called, connecting the front towers all the way the the rear shock mounts. The thing is, it probably still won't be as good as my C6 Corvette targa. Just hard to get a unibody to be as good as a well designed full frame car I guess.

I just don't see how a piece of sheet metal makes a car more rigid. All 4th gens are ttop cars from the factory, that's why conversions are as easy as they are.

2 things wrong with this.

1. It's actually a sheet of fiberglass.

2. That is a myth that all cars are t top from the factory. There really is structural steel on the edges of a hardtop car. If I wasn't on my phone I'd show pics of mine.

SFC's will still do more than that ever will. And if you need real stiffness a cage will fix that

This is my first t-top car, I've only taken them off twice. Not really that cool to be honest. I prefer hardtops, I wish I could do a t-top to hardtop conversion.
