What year? I bought a festoon bulb for my 2002 but found out it was wrong. I think the 01-02 camaros need a wedge bulb.

If you do both MAP and trunk light, one set will stay on all the time unless you solder in a extra resistor. At least that's how my Camaro was,,,

Dont know camaros but I used this in my Firebird..

As for the trunk light, I swapped out the stock light bulb with an LED strip, no problems with anything staying on..

hey can you (or anyone) explain how to wire in a resistor for the map lights? im having the problem where the leds are staying dimly lit all the time. i know it wont drain the battery or anything but it will annoy me.

Thanks
