I know a guy here in Muscle Shoals that does one heck of a job. IIRC when I had my 99 Z it was $ 150.00 for the 1 peice rear and both sides. I am gonna have him do my new 01 SS as soon as I get her home.

$50 for the whole windshield is a deal. Every place in Cali I've asked is $180+ or simply won't do it

yeah, it's tough to find a shop to do the windshield, took me forever to find one.

i've had my tint redone so many times i've forgotten what i've paid for different things. I think last i paid was around 150 for the sides, windshield, and to add the vinyl to the dot matrix area on the hatch which was already tinted. need to go back again to go darker on my sides, going to 5% this time (currently have two layers of 35% = ~12%), should be 40-50 to get the tint removed and replaced. so i'll have 5 on the hatch and sides, 35% on the windshield, blacked out t-tops

most shops I've talked to seem to charge 150-160 for the sides and hatch.

I payed $140 for all the way around on my 4 door truck including the eyebrow with lifetime warranty. Not a single bubble at all since installed. btw it wasnt done at a big shop or anything like that, its just a guy with his little car tent and thats where he does his work for himself, really cool guy. He will charge me $125 for my Trans Am since I always get him customers.

Heres the tint on my truck, looks legit IMO.

Hearing **** like this drives me nuts. Tint is not an expensive product. Yes, the actual process can be considered labor intensive, but its virtually all profit! I have a few shops in my area that cut the tint on a cnc machine, which creates very little wasted product and provide the most precise measurements you're going to get. These shops tend to cost more, but the product is much better imo. I would suggest if you are going to pay a premium, make sure you go to a shop that is capable of giving you a premium service.
