How much did everybody pay for window tint?

Hearing **** like this drives me nuts. Tint is not an expensive product. Yes, the actual process can be considered labor intensive, but its virtually all profit! I have a few shops in my area that cut the tint on a cnc machine, which creates very little wasted product and provide the most precise measurements you're going to get. These shops tend to cost more, but the product is much better imo. I would suggest if you are going to pay a premium, make sure you go to a shop that is capable of giving you a premium service.

the price for tint on my Tundra runs about $700. 500 for the Wincos Ceramic film n the sides and $200 for the LLumar Air 80 Blue ceramic film on the windsheild. But since i install the film i did it for a lot cheaper than that
What you also need to realize is that LLumar makes like 6 or so brands of film. So just cause the guy said hes charging you 125 or for llumar it could be the entry level film which sucks anway. For you guys that want just ask em which line of llumar film it is & that should tell you if youre getting the good film & have them explain the whole line to you w its features & benefits. I can be honest & say there is absolutely no heat in this truck. The reason i decided to go with this film is because i have 3 daughters that complain that its hot & now its not. so im happy w this film.

I have three kids as well and I had my mini van done first and the results were AMAZING. I live in vegas and the temps are always hotter that what they say they are. If they say it is 110 outside at 11am my own personal thermometer in my backyard reads at 115. The heat reduction was at least 80%. The news stations here are constantly telling people not to leave kids or animals in the cars because they did tests and the temps in a car with no tint reaches 250* on average.
I don't know the brand of the tint that the shop uses but I can say that it is the best tint I have ever had. The good thing about that shop is that if the tint ever gets scratched or torn they will replace it for free for the life of the vehicle.

$250 was the lowest anyplace around me would go 5% looks awesome but you will hate yourself at night, you can't see a damn thing out the back of the car. Had 5% on my old Thirdgen and it required opening the doors when I wanted to back up anywhere at night LOL.
