first time paint correction/detail
#23
I've done a few more cars since I posted this last year, definitely getting better at it.
I bought a gto in january with a cheap looking paint job, few runs in the clear, missing clear entirely, and plenty of fine scratches and swirls.
I re cleared the missing clear coat on the bumper and needed to wet sand it to blend it in.
Ended up wet sanding most of the car after i saw how much better it looked than the rest of the paint.
Still using the 105/205 primarily, also had pretty good luck with ultimate compound.
I'm pretty happy with the results compared to how rough it looked before. It's not perfect still, but short of a new paint job I think it's pretty close

Great job! I just ordered a PC da and Meguiars/Lake Country pad kit from autogeek a few days ago. I am about to respray my rear bumper and berger panel due to some spider cracks, so this will all be a fun learning process for me. I am about to start a thread on here for it. Again, nice job on your car. Looks great
