Matte Grabber blue trans am...FINALLY DONE!!! --- UPDATE 05-06-2014
THE ***** GOING DOWN BOYS!!!! Bit the bullet and am going to start shooting this weekend. My car is at Burkhart chassis and will be until next month, but i have the front and rear fascia, hatch, fenders, ect. Going to start them all this weekend. Been doing sprayouts the last few weeks, and finally got the shade i want. Its grabber blue, but i added a few more toners to get the baby blueness out of it. Heres the exciting part, its also going matte clear. Should turn out something like this.

This is true, especially in matte. It just looks cheap and very plastic, as if the curves of the car lack definition. I haven't seen it on anything but Mustangs or it's cousin in "Petty Blue" on mopar products so I can't be judgmental and say it will be ugly lol I just like the look of "Deep paint." Haha.

If I were to do a matte blue, I would do it like the one in this link.

I think it will look pretty good. Definitely post pics of the finished product.
On a side note: showing an Aston Martin for display purposes is stacking the deck. That Aston could be painted "baby **** brown" and it would still look good
