Proper lubricant for a Clay bar?

I've ran out of the stuff my Clay magic bar came with. What is everyone using to lubricate while using the bar? TIA

If you don't have spray wax you can take an empty spray bottle and put a little carwash soap in it with some water and shake it up. This will give you a slick lubricant for your clay.

I think you can use the stuff that comes with the Mother's clay bar. (Its safe for the Mothers claybar so it should it should be safe for the ClayMagic claybar) I think its called "Quick Detailer".

I just bought the mothers kit tonight. Used the spray detailer it
came with. I'm sure any spray detailer will be good. I tried my
first attempt at using the clay bar tonight. Anyone got some
quick tips for claying? How long should I rub a particular area?

BTW, I did the !pinstripe mod tonight as well. Then put on a fresh
coat of colorx and nxt tech wax. I'll try to get some pics tomorrow
if it doesn't rain or if there isn't an inch of pollen on the car

if you want to get rid of the wax as well, use dishwashing fluid.... if not just use regular car wash soap.

I think the Mother's product is called Showtime. Might be mistaken but just throwing my $.02 in.

I use Meguiars #34 final inspection, its like 7 bucks for 16oz or 21 for a gallon around here.

Btw to see if the surface is smooth, put your hand in a sandwitch bag and rub over the surface, you will feel all the stuff you can't with a naked hand, or hear with the bar.
