That looks great! I really like that it still looks close to factory just a little darker.

I'm liking it for the most part. Only a couple things I would change if it were mine. The stripes, mirrors and sail would match (either all matte or all gloss) and I would lighten the wheel color.

Against such a bright blue the entire wheel well area looks like a black hole. Like others have suggested the ceta stripes breaking it up could possibly fix that.

A++ for originality though, looks great.

Thanks! eventually I am going to do the stripes and ceta bumper in gloss, but I wanted to try it out with plastidip first to see how I would like it. I also just got the bird decal put on the front and the pontiac one on the back (both gloss black) and that is definitely helping to break up the blue.

I really like that color. However, I think it would look better on a trans am with the side skirts and rear bumper from the TA. Trans Ams can pull off crazy colors like these very well IMO.

Gonna bring this thread back from the dead. Just realized that I never posted any updated pictures of the car. So here they are if anyone wants to see how it turned out!

That color looks awesome, I forgot all about this thread. Only thing I dislike is the GS stripes.

GS stripes are actually done with plastidip and pinstripe. Gonna take them off eventually, but I was bored one day and decided to try them out.

I like it a lot, looks sick!!! But why would you put a WS6 Ram Air hood on a V6/ Non WS6 ... Rims ... doesn't it weigh the car down with the bigger rims?

It is actually an LT1 V8 and I have the ram air intake so the hood is functional. Basically I had a wrecked 96 TA with a good drivetrain and a bent front subframe. So I found a base v6 donor car and stripped it to the sheet metal and rebuilt it completely with the parts from the TA. So it has the V8 engine and complete leather interior from the other car. Also, the wheels are 18" C6 corvette wheels and they are actually pretty light.
