Default Will this buff out?

Just woke up to a nice surprise. On my brand new bumper. Do you think this will buff out?

Scuff from a moron trying to parallel park.

It could get better but there are some deep scratches there that won't come out

Yeah doesn't look too good. Sorry to hear that happened. The general rule of thumb is that if you can feel it with your thumb when you glide it over the paint, it's too deep to wetsand and buff

that is a terrible rule of thumb lol

Looks like most of it is paint from the other car which you will feel with your thump. try paint thinner first to see how much comes off. if a good ammount comes off, get some rubbing compound

Most of that should come out, use some sort of adhesive remover to get what you can off, get a good quality compound and wax and have at it

That's rough man, it happened to me a couple weeks ago on my rear bumper while my car was parked at work. Damage was too deep to machine buff that my only option was to have my bumper repainted.

Yeah, except it's not..I'm not saying that he won't be able to remove most of the paint transfer, but the scratches in his clear coat are most likely too deep if they can be felt once the area is cleaned up..

Wipe down surface with a cleaner. Clay bar to see what comes off. Also to remove any contanimates. Hand rub some compound and see what comes out. I will agree if u can catch it with a finger nail. Its too deep but the majority should come out. Looks like mostly paint xfer.
