Just to update I tried to get it done today, but it turns out my windshield was too long for the sheet they had at the shop. So, they ended up ordering me a longer sheet and it won't be ready to go on until Thursday. Got a glimpse of it though with the 35% and it looked SICK, so I can't wait.

Can't thank you guys enough for all your help.

must states do, just like a lot of states have laws forcing you to have plates up front... some of us are willing to chance these things for the benefits they provide--namely looks. being that we're all in the appearance section, we all clearly care about looks. lol

I'd only consider 50% if I was getting it strictly for heat/sun protection reasons.

love it, love it, love it! that's exactly what i'll be changing to. your car was one of the main reasons I had try out the w/s tint!

in my opinion, the windshield is the least harmful window you can tint.. if you have headlights, you won't notice a difference lol. as mentioned before, the only tint that really makes anything hard to see are the sides and the rear.. you don't have headlights pointing all the way around you to see in all directions, so those are the areas where the tint can get in the way depending on how lit the streets are that you happen to be driving on. during the day there's no real difference.

heres a pic of the front windshield. driving around in the afternoon with 35% is really risky tho. i dont drive mines much. but if it was a daily driver id definatly go lighter.

5% on sides/rear and 50% on windshield. Perfect IMO.

I really wanna do my full windshield but I just got a banner put on when I did my windows and I think it would just look wierd having a 8 inch strip of 5% then have the rest of the windshield at 35%

On my Silverado I have 5% on all of the windows and 50% on the windshield. It is impossible to see inside the truck even during the day, much less at night. The only problem I have is backing up at night. I just roll my two side windows down and use the mirrors like normal.

I'm going to do the exact same thing to my T/A when she's out of the body shop.

Finally got around to doing it. Went with 45% instead of the 35% I was going to do, was afraid it would end up being too dark. This is perfect IMO, should have done it a long time ago.

Terrible pic I know but figured I needed something to show for, I'll take more outside if anyone cares to see. Looks really good in the sunlight/shade IMO.

This definitely helps me. I'm going to redo my tint this summer. I think I'll go with 50 on the windshield! I don't need any cop attention.
