paint my formy LS1tech
paint my formy LS1tech I have decided on three options for painting my formy. I am going to shave the door handles and antenna and find a way to smooth out the windshield wiper area along with buying this hood and yes I am sticking with the two tone

I wish i was a photoshop guru so I could get a better idea of what everything would look like but here are my ideas
option 1- Repaint the same scheme
option 2- Leave the bottom white, paint the stripe silver(like the top is now) and paint the top ginger ale as seen on new fords
option 3- same as option two but the top will be a metallic admiral blue as seen on the GS vette
I am open to suggestions, greens cant be super bright like the one they use on the new mustangs I like the soft green like above.

Which car is yours? The red one with the cowl hood, or the white bottom/cf top? Just trying to get an ideal on what you mean by top, as in two tone like the white/cf one or like just the sail panel top.
if you GOTTA do a 2 tone then the Blue from the vette and a silver, the only question is which one on top and which on bottom, personally I feel 4th gens should be a SOLID color, but you know what I've yet to see is an early 4th with the Pewter Metallic that started on the 98's, it's my favorite color for the later 4th gens.
this is my car as it sits now. I plan to leave the bottom of the car white and might get the wheels powder coated. I am really wanting to stick to the two-tone I have really grown attached to it...

All white, black sail panel and black mirrors, and dark window tint, maybe some sort of black pinstripe since you seem to like that body line

personally id say paint the whole car that gingerale color and do a black sail panel and maybe some black accents here and there... that would look pretty cool. Even with the white though it would look good although my only recomendation for that route would be a black pinstripe rather than a silver... ittl pop more against the white.
Blue on top would make it more sporty, the green/sage color would make it more classy/elegant so with the black wheels though I say blue on bottom,white on top( maybe a white pearl would be nicer) then pinstripe to break it up, maybe a red pinstripe. ? Hard to picture though cause you hardly never see them two toned that way.
if your stuck on the two tone id go with the white and blue with no stripe. then get some blue accents in spots for the car to give it a little flare. I'm more for sail panel painting on trans ams and firebirds nothing more.
