6LE you around? BUMPER
needing to do 700+ in work to a $550 bumper is not really acceptable in my eyes. I think i waited long enough to whine. I even refused to pay the rest of my gauge setup because I cant get a decent bumper why would i want the gauges.
Not trying to bad mouth or anything cause the first responses were great. But now i think its stretched a little long. Any word if im going to get a bumper soon?
and who makes them. The quality is TOP notch every single time and McNord in no
way, should be screwed because of a different company's actions. McNord makes
the overlays himself fyi, not a third party company.
the first 6 months customer service was top notch. now they say oh this guy will get back to you... then that guy says this guy will get back to you.. thats every 2 months. it just fell off. maybe they are still having bumper issues i dont know. he said im the last person from the first batch that has not received a usable bumper?
maybe its back luck on my part. im not being a stickler but my bumper at the very least should come whole with no cracks! just respond. i mean hell thats all i want. even if you say u are working it out with the crappy company! i just want a response

Placed and paid for a billet grill on Mar 31...no order info other than "order processing", what's that mean???
No further word from these clowns until I email them, then two "delayed delivery" emails (both times, only because I quiered them). OK...when the ship date happens, I have to email and request a tracking number...no answer. Two days after the "adjusted" ship date, I email again asking for shipping info...no iresponse.
I'm now set to back charge my card and will avoid these axxhoxxx in the future...
I don't care how they were in the past, stay away from these crooks...
ill email and get nothing back. or email and get something back saying oh ya you are the last person that needs one we'll be getting that out. then nothing and no responses to emails once again.

As far as the shipping not sure what to say other than its a 2 man operation. Delays from powdercoater etc.
If you want to post negative feedback in the appropriate forum then by all means do so, that's what it is for. But expecting a company ran by two people to randomly come across a thread on one of the many forums they sponsor is not the way to do it.
Next, to the OP. We literally cleared out our inventory sending you bumpers you kept finding things wrong with. They are all inspected before shipment for damage, they have none. Unfortunately it happens in transit sometimes (as your first one had) so we replace no questions asked. We've replaced multiple times no questions asked (other companies would start blaming the body shop for mishandling, etc...). The last bumper that went out I paid extreme to test fit on Christian's car before it shipped. I'm waiting to hear from Jeff if that was one of the last ones that had gone out to you or what, I honestly was under the impression this was resolved after that as I've had no e-mails from you.
To be honest, it is a $550 bumper. The amount of fiberglass alone in it in the states would cost more than that. It is made over seas and is that price (which is a cheap price) which comes with the knowledge it will take work. I honestly told Jeff at one point to stop sending you bumpers because you were nitpicking expecting a $2000 bumper (like what Corvette guys have to pay) for $550. He talked me down and we continued to send replacements. Yes, after we sent multiples to you our inventory was cleared out and unfortunately these take about 6 months to get made.
We are a small company but try to keep inventory but when one customer gets as many as you did it is hard for us to keep up.
E-mail me so I know where we last stand so I can make sure the bumper I test fit got to you...
Shane-ss... You felt the rails weren't the right length (they've been fine on all the other 100 seats we sent out). That is simply how the factory makes them. What did we end up doing for you? We took their rails and completely fabricated a new lever for them to make them longer for you. Weird you didn't mention that.
CBAR02SLP, I SERIOUSLY can't believe you posted this. We JUST e-mailed pointing out how you failed miserably to simply read the ordering page and your grille was already out in under the time the site said. The page you clicked said how long it could take and that if you want an accurate update simply e-mail us. You e-mailed us, we said it is waiting on powder. We sent you tracking, Fed Ex picked up a day or so later. Your grille shows delivered in UNDER the time on the page you ordered said it would be. Who's the crook?
Dealing with people who simply don't take the time to read, expect $2000 parts for $200, etc... on a daily basis makes us want to close up shop at least once a week.
My friend Jeff and I have been in love with F-Bodies for about 30 years. We work other jobs to support our selves, sell the products for just enough profit to pay the business costs and make new products to keep our cars alive. We do it out of passion and do our best to do whatever we can to make people happy and love their cars with our products and this is the thanks we get (not the OP so much as CBAR...).
Deep thanks to everyone who showed support in this thread. I sleep about 4 hours a day trying to balance all of this and it is nice to see some people appreciate it.
We could always just double are prices, just sell what we have (no new products), hire someone to answer a phone and BS e-mails or we could continue to do what we do IF our customers will simply read our site, use our site, etc...
