I thought about this after I posted. When I did this review it was at work. My Hawk is currently in the parking lot minus a camshaft. I was looking at the wheels today and saw no staining on the blacktop.

Good to know. I'm not that worried but wanted to make sure since these products pull all the iron particles off the wheels. Would just give me a reason to actually clean the driveway lol.

We've not had any issues with driveway staining and we have hundreds (if not thousands) of bottles out in the market now, as well as the product undergoing months and months of testing.

Just be sure to rinse the residue well and you'll be fine!

I did another set of wheels today. These were a great candidate for this comparison. The wheels are in great shape and had caked on brake dust from metallic pads.

Adams

Before

After 2 minutes

After

Sonax

Before

After 2 minutes

After 5 minutes

After

I had the same results from this comparison as I did the two previous sets I did.

Adam's began working in about 1/2 the time as Sonax.
Adam's appeared to pull out more brake dust
Adam's required less agitation to clean the wheel.
Adam's smells better.

I used a boars hair brush for the wheel face, mid sized wheel woolie to clean the holes in the wheel. Meg's super degreaser to clean the tires w/ a short bristle scrub brush.

Thanks for looking!
