Good. It worked. This wheel is awesome. Finally, I can sit the way I want without the wheel digging into my thighs. Very sporty feel as well. It is a lecarra mark 9 gt incase anyone is interested. I finnished installing it today.

That's cool! It looks really nice. I didn't know that anyone offered an adaptor for the 4th gen cars. That's one of the things I missed when I sold my '88 Camaro....I had a grant steering wheel in it.

I have a similar leg problem when it comes the 4th gen. I'm 6' 1" and mostly legs, so I have to fold up like a pretzel in order to get in. My knees can actually touch the steering wheel when I'm sitting behind the wheel.

Curious - I am 6'4" 210 lbs - and I never had a problem with wheel/leg clearance. You do know that that lever behind the turn signal stalk tilts the wheel upwards?

As for the airbag light - a spot of black electrical tape on the overlay, or pulling the bulb would be a permanent solution. I wouldn't trust the passenger SRS now however, FYI.

6'7 here and never had a fitment problem with the steering wheel. It looks nice though! I drive too much like an idiot to remove the airbag unfortunately.

Ok, now I feel short....

Do you have any plans for chrome/polished aluminum on the outside of the car...i.e. wheels maybe? It would really tie the steering wheel in nicely.

A bowtie horn button would look nice too....

Unfortunately my budget is low and cannot afford a nice new set of polished or chromed wheels. I'd love to get fiskes one day.

Same here, on both accounts.

IMO, you need some other billet accent pieces on the interior. The wheel looks great, but a little out of place. Maybe look into some of the MBA stuff?

I hear ya there....I do a little at a time as I can afford it too. I'm a starving artist, so I have to be creative with my car spending...

I'd have a hard time removing the airbag without a roll bar and at least a 4 point harness. I'm 6'4" and I don't think it's that bad for room in the cockpit.
