You call VFN and they take the order. Not sure what your friend is telling you.

http://www.vfnfiberglass.com/site.htm -even talks about it under their Terms section.

I dont know if you guys know this or not, but ill just post it up for the benefit of everyone:
"The height on the standard Sunoco is about 3"...
This scoop is 22" wide.

The Wide is a little taller...sitting at 4 1/2" at center, then dipping down to 3" at the back...for better visability.
The width on this scoop is 28" Wide." - I got this information straight from VFN when i asked the size difference.

Is the back side of the raised part open so air flow can run out from under hood? I'm lookin at gettin one soon but need to make sure it's gonna get the heat out from under my stock z hood can't seem to keep the temps under 200 I have tried everything

Yes it is a fully functional cowl. My car runs at about 180 on a decent day with a 160 stat. Im not sure if it has much to do with the hood, but that hood does pull some heat out.

The only thing i can think of is there might be a problem when you open the hood. But idk ive never tried it or seen a post about it

I'm not usually one for aftermarket hoods on these cars, but that one is pretty classy.

My Sunoco fits well, fenders need some adjustment. I think they look better without the centerline. I like the wide, but only when the car has a drag setup (wheels, stance, etc) I like the regular on a street car.
