Can the exterior be swapped?

My friend has a camaro and I have a firebird, I was wondering if its possible to do a complete swap of the exterior aka, the hood, bumper etc on the 4th generation? Reason being is we like the mods we have inside and just want to change the outer appearance.

No, it is not possible

you can change the front end, but that requires custom work to get it to work, mainly the doors. but it's impossible to change any of the back half of the car

You could however swap interiors and then trade cars.

^that would be possible.. but I assume at least one of you would prefer to keep your drivetrain/ suspension/ performance mods/ mileage etc..

^so swap everything between cars, then you both keep your car, but it will be swapped looks wise

No not possible unless you want to spend lots of money on some goooood work to get it done. Just trade the cars.

You no like? lol, check my sig.. loved that car, so I decided to make my own! The Camaro has the better overall rear, the t/a has the meaner looking front, why not allow yourself the best of both worlds?

wow thanks for the quick replies guys, but yes that's exactly why I wanted to do the exterior swap. I wanted to keep the suspension, drive train, engine etc. I figured I could swap the exterior and it would be easier, I suppose not lol.
