Teflon Protectant?

Just saw a commercial for Dupont's new automotive protectant wax thingy. Spray-on Teflon. Any thoughts?

Screw that idea
Teflon has to be applied at high heat to stick to metal and I would never buy into this idea of paint protectant

I don't think they meant 'actual' teflon. I only barely glimpsed the commercial, it's like a spray (imagine windex bottle but all black plastic) applied after car wash/wax. A sealer maybe? I don't know.

The teflon wax additives came out many years ago and it was quickly determined that it did nothing. Every now and then it comes back until everyone figures out again that it really doesn't do anything.
