^^Nope but if you recover them (they have that crappy rubbery synthetic leather) they'd work great...

^^Nope. Different brand. They use the same rubbery stuff Summit uses. I'd just have a local shop recover them in leather WHEN AND IF you get tired of the rubber feel...

$500 will get you two used Corbeaus. If you're of average build or larger, I recommend the CR1 Wide. Good luck finding them used. I have the CR1 standard width in my car and it's just a hair too narrow feeling for me.

^^Both are... supposedly. I've e-mailed repeatedly to see if they actually have them with no response. We bought directly from Yonaka for years and they modified the bottoms for us before they put the better material on and they have told us for two years they don't make them or have any...

Basically some Chinese company copied Recaro. They slap crap on top of it and sell it all over ebay. Yonaka and MRC took the seats, recovered them and then resold them. Whomever they got them from though stopped making them as neither sell them anymore (at least that's what they both told me on the phone)....

So (just thinking out loud here) the seats on ebay that look close to what you had have very crappy plastic "leather" on them, if I'm understanding correctly. But was the padding the same?

I've seen a few on there on occasion that are cloth instead of the pleather, and thought maybe they might be half decent.

Oh, OK. So probably not worth even considering then unless I wanted to heavily modify them.

^^Believe it or not Pep Boys. I just saw their in store seats and the cloth were nice. Good frame, sturdy, good adjustments. Leather ones still felt like rubber but I'd just get a set of those then if you don't like you can always have a local shop recover in better material..

Well, after all that calling thinking they were selling to other companies they aren't but they had a company they sold to that's now out of business and had some in inventory... Needless to say we bought it lol!

Going to have them all shipped here, make sure the bottoms are modded if they need it to fit our cars (we used to have to have that done) and ship ourselves

So far we only have four CONFIRMED sets but they said they may have more. If you want a set go ahead and order here BUT KNOW THERE ARE NO COLOR OPTIONS FOR THREAD. The page says there is because I haven't figured out how to change it yet but all of these seats are BLACK ON BLACK...

Also Yonaka confirmed most people with them on their site don't actually have them because they always drop shipped from Yonaka and they haven't had them in a year...
