Hmm. I'd have to futs with the wiring a bit. Guess I can do that while I wait for my MC to come in. I'll see what I can come up with.

Yeah, a dual filament bulb/socket so the outside bulbs function as brake and tail lights. I don't know if you'll run into excess heat issues warping the lens though, might want to search around. A shot with the parking lights on would look good too

Parking lights are on in a pic a few posts up from the brake light pics. I should be stopping over there tonight so I will get one with the parking lights, brake lights, and reverse lights on.

As far as the lighting on the outside, I really doubt there would be a heat issue. The tails are huge Not sure if I will get to it this weekend but I will see what I can do.

Thanks!

I will eventually redo them with paint as it is just plasti dip for now because I wasn't sure if I was going to like them or not. But they did turn out great so I'm sure it'll hold up for quite awhile. Stripes and Ceta are done in it also. Should be fine until I repaint it.

Hopefully I will have it good to go by Wed then I can get some good outside pics

Finally got it out of the garage and drove it around the block. So happy!

I also started working on making the entire tail light illuminate for the brakes and such. Will probably finish that tomorrow. Quite easy when you have an extra tail light harness.

NOT seein' it. Looks like cheap base firebird lens with black duct tape applied.
If you were looking for a different look - mission accomplished.

I think they are a great change. I was thinking about doing some just like that but keeping my honeycombs too for when I need a change. Both are a good look on these cars. Are those led's in the reverse lights? Do they actually make a noticeable difference from the drivers seat or are they just bright when you look at them?

Thanks for the input. Seriously. Exactly why I posted it so that I can get opinions.

They are all just stock bulbs and the reverse lights are LEDs. They are from v-leds.com. They must have taken them off their site now because I don't see them. I'll take a picture and post it.

See above for LED stuff. As far as the difference I can definitely tell since my reverse lights didn't work before However, it is quite bright even through all the defractors in the firebird tails. In the honeycombs I would assume there would be an even bigger difference since the lens is clear.

I had LEDs from SUPERBRIGHTLEDs.com in my Camaro. Blinkers, side markers, and rear tail lights. I loved it. I intend to go full LED with my T/A too! Thanks for the info man!

Yeah mine had that problem when I attempted to do a sequential mod with LT1 camaro tails. Dimpled my tail light lenses on the corners so then I bought some Euros with black background and switched to LEDs. LEDs do not run near as hot as these incandescent bulbs so it worked great!

Yea my fronts are switchbacks from Vleds and I bought the reverse ones at the same time. All the interior lights are leds also. The only lights that aren't are the rear marker lights (need to get some red ones) and all the tail lights.
