Was the switchback install difficult? I was planning to just go to some LED builbs for my fronts and new sockets because they are burnt up from the factory hot incandescents and the fact that they are on all of the damn time since they are the DRls.

Nope. Just replace the bulb and get an electronic flasher module. It's just under the steering wheel and really easy to change. You can disable the DRL's by unplugging a connection behind the radio. I can't remember for sure which one it is but it was really easy to do.

Well yes and no. I have a 6 speed and if I just unplug it, it will disable my button for the hatch. I will have to splice into a couple wires and stuff like that.

Here's a couple pics from my photoshoot in boston last week. Waiting to get the rest of the pictures

Sorry about the huge pics. They are hosted on my dropbox so I don't know how to resize them. I will gladly do it if someone tells me how

Thanks guys. As far as the tips when I lowered my car more with the HH mod and Koni lower perch the body hits the exhaust now so it pushes them down and moves them. I need to redo my exhaust and they will be back to normal

Thanks. Are you talking about the blue car in the first picture set? That's a 51 Mercury.

How'd you get your license plate to light up like that? I used a PIAA 196 buld in mine but it's like a mini spotlight in the middle.

I had some extra led bulbs lying around so I just put it in and cleaned the little lens. Didn't do anything special

Sorry, I am not one to copy others, but I figured after you posted something THIS cool you knew others would emulate.

Finished my set a while ago, but finally got around to post pictures. I did black gloss paint.

Also, more on this car coming soon, long long project (5 years) finally finishing.
