[QUOTE=JDEP162;17522632]ur car, but i say if its mostly stock, go with stock ss hood. if its cammed and sound like hell on earth, u can pull off the high 3inch ss. like a guy above said, if u have nads under the hood to back up the look go for it.[
Yea man I totally agree with having the nada! I currently have an Intercooled 383 LS1 motor with a vortec twin screw supercharger that I got off a callaway c6. Whether or not that's having nads or not is up to you guys haha.

I rocked that hood unpainted and cam only for 3 years without any problems. For me my car is a true ss, I just wanted something alittle more aggressive but keeping the ss theme.

my vote: regular SS. simple and clean, with a touch of aggressiveness as well. can't go wrong with it
3" ONLY if your car has the nads to back up the look, along with an aggressive wheel/stance setup... otherwise it's overkill appearance wise
or go sunoco and never look back![The Judge](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_judge.gif)

I like the original, the best... I'm looking for an OEM for my 02 SS myself, I haven't had any luck yet, so I was considering a spohn hood. Anyone have any experience with them?
