. . . . I decided to pull the trigger and contacted a popular f-body vinyl shop to produce these for me. Here's the pics:
Please excuse the horrible pictures from my cell phone - the color is red but appears "orangish." I only laid down one stripe because I was unhappy with the finish of the decal. I understand that a gloss vinyl won't look wet like paint but it appears too "blotchy" for lack of a better term. Aside from that, what do you guys think? I like it. I might remove the "Ram Air" decals and place them in the overlap area of the stripe.

Looks great! i would change the color to maybe a flat black? So you get the contrast of the two finished, yet still be stealthy at the same time. My .02 though lol What ever you do, keep the stripe that shape though, i like it!

I have played the stealth look for too long - even had charcoal Blackbird stripes. I'm looking to change the look and been liking the red-on-black look for awhile now.

After four years, I'm thinking of switching up the look of my car. I'm considering ditching the red for flat black without the silver pinstripes. Thoughts on whether I should go back to original Ram Air stripes or go again with the Lynx?
I thought I had recent pics of this up but I've got EmblemPros' stainless steel Ram Air emblems in the overhang portion of the vinyl stripe near the cowl. Here's some pics:

I had no idea you had those stripes on your car....you know im a fan of red and black though.
I get the feeling to change things up though. gunmetal or silver would look sharp with your wheels I think

Can't believe these stripes are still being talked about. i laid out that design i think in 2011. i know aa few people have put them on their cars and i never got around to doing it to my ws6 i had at the time. that car is long gone now but i always wanted to do satin black or silver on mine. either way you can't go wrong. car looks great.
