Default 6LE whistler headlight thoughts?

Hello. Around 4 years ago I painted my stock headlights in the whistler style. While the paint did turn out okay, the lens was excessively hazy, and I've been wanting to replace the headlamps for awhile.

I'm debating purchasing either the depo headlights or 6LE. I am swaying towards the 6LE version because I have read poor reviews on depo fitting issues, excessive gaps, etc.

Can anyone respond on the build quality of the 6LE headlamps? I know they are aftermarket units, but how do they fit? Has anyone had them on their car for more than a couple years? How do they hold up through time, any moisture issues?

Thanks!

I have the 6le whistler headlights in my 00 z. To me they fit great bro. No cutting or fabbing up brakets here and there. Fits like it came from GM. Only thing Im having trouble is with is adjusting them to shine as far as the original lights did but then again I never adjusted headlights on a car. As far as looks ppl ask me all the time about the lights and they say they look nice.

I was under the impression that 6le headlights are depo headlights. 6le doesn't manufacture the lights, its my understanding he's just a vendor. Maybe I'm wrong.

I was about to ask what name brand the headlights are but my guess is they are Depo.

Transfer over your stock brackets and they fit fine.

One of the Co-owners got pulled into his full time job and has very little if any time to spend with 6LE, And the other owner can't handle all the demand by himself. I think they'll be around for another couples months.

6LE makes cool stuff,

but I ended up going with Amazon Depo's for cheaper. They are black inside, just like whistler ones. Very nice lights for the price.

I have the 6LE whistler headlights and I love them! Couldn't be happier. I say pull the trigger on them before they close shop.

Has anyone had this problem where when your adjusting vertical alignment on the headlight and the ball end of the ajustment screw comes out of the plastic retainer screwed to the headlight housing? I've had to take it completely apart a few times because it keeps popping out. The first time I thought it got tightened up to the max before it popped but the second time I realized there was still plenty of room for adjustment to continue without enough stress to pull the ball from the housing. I really hope somebody understands what I am talking about here. I feel like if this happened to you, you would know exactly what im talking about. BTW whistelered 6le depo lights.

I had the exact problem on my DEPOs. I just raised them to the max before it popped out lol. No idea how to fix it.

Don't have stockers or I would have done so. Thinking about throwing some JB weld or make a thick gasket so it wont slide out. Other wise I have no issues.
