I'm not sure what exactly you are referring to but I had to cut the underside of the rad support to nearly flush with where the bolts come through. I also had to trim the lid bottom and the filter basket. I might have tossed the basket actually, I can't remember.

I did that too, but i think it rubs on the plastic of the rad support in between the core support and the radiator on the side.

I got some outside pics for everyone though!

I agree, I can't decide on one though. Maybe a billet grille? I've never shopped for ls1 parts, where can I get a nice grille without breaking the bank?

Painted and looking good

Hopefully I can install it this weekend, the weather has been cooler out so the clear is taking awhile to set.
The hood and the bumper are a great match !! Looks great!! I had a 96 Z28 and it would of looked bad *** with that!
Nice ride~

That actually looks really, really nice. 6LE Designs/McNord did a great job with the design of that bumper. Really changes the 93-97 Camaro from something I never really liked into something I do.

Fix the hood gap and post more pics!

The gap between the hood and bumper looks bad... That would drive me nuts. Other than the gap, everything looks awesome.

cheapest option will be a billet grille, you can get one for like $35 on ebay. Painted black would look great. Before you install paint the area behind the grill black as well - one of the few things i'd do with plastidip, since it is just a background thing so the grill looks better, and you don't want to mess up the fresh paint. you should be able to find threads showing this done.

Think I'd consider an SLP grille myself, but that's 200+ if i recall correctly. the billet is definitely the best bang for your buck grille

Sorry man you have a nice car but that bumper just doesnt look top notch, your car deserves more than that! The turn signal housings do not sit even in the bumper, the body line in the bumper is wavy... it also looks like it wont line up correctly on the drivers side?
Just a poorly made bumper and I am sorry man no offense to your car at all but 6LE dropped the ball on this one, not with the design but the actual product.

Yeah the quality wasn't the best, I had to make brackets to mount the turn signals since this bumper did not have the backing that stock bumpers had. This also was the first run of the bumper which had molding issues, I'm not sure what was fixed in the newer batches though. I can't complain, its better than the ugly bumper I had before with stripes on the nose and for the little money I actually have invested I cant beat it

I also fitted factory ls1 projector fogs into their proper location, the light output with 35w hids is better than my headlights

Car looks good. I think the second run did fix some of those issues. I have one for sale from the second run and it looked totally different from the first run.

Makes me miss my 97z
