Default Rear fender pulling

I have been searching for information on this car and how he did it, yet to find anything.

Any leads or information on how he got the rear fenders flared and pulled like that would be greatly appreciated

It almost looks like he used a fender roller to press it out, but most others I have seen do that it ends up creasing the quarter panel.

Thats interesting. I like it. I am sure any body man worth his weight could pull it off.

There was a member on here who had a thread showing the fender pulling work he had done on a couple camaros. Looked very similar. I'll try to find the thread when I get a chance.

If you are talking about the thread where he cut the fender into strips then bondo'd them and repainted it I have seen that.

Hoping for something that doesn't require extensive bodywork

I'm no expert, but I would say that guy did NOT cut the quarter to get that minor flare. Probably had to repaint the quarter, but no chtting I would bet. Massaging and heat would be my guess, and maybe with the fender roller tool.

I've never seen a 4th gen F-body with the fenders pulled like that. I'm also curious as to how it was done...

negative. it was just a simple fender pulling job I believe, no body work.

I remember there was a thread where a guy was able to do this without doing any cutting. I searched, but I couldn't find it.

If either of you find it please let me know! I have been searching and even PM'd someone who others have said has done it but he hasn't responded.

And the reason I want to know is this, 19x12" wheel, 5.5" lip:

If I remember right, the guy in the thread I'm thinking of was just able to flare out the bottom part of the rear quarter pannel (the part directly behind the tire if looking at it directly from behind), not up where the fender is. Based on that picture you posted, it look like you're going to have to extend the whole fender out at least an inch and a half. I think that might require cutting release slits and pulling the sheet metal.

That might be a bad picture/angle but I measured it and the lip is only 1" from the furthest spot on the fender. so even a 1/2" to 3/4" would give me enough to tuck the tire in.

Well, if that's all you have to go, then it's probably doable. I'm still looking for that damn thread. I know it exists because I remember it well.

Yep, that's the one I was referring to.

By the way, what wheels did you end up finding now? You got any other pics of them? You're so damn good at finding wheels. I swear, you change out wheels more than anyone on Tech

iForged Senekas, might just rebuild them and step them down to a smaller lip.

Talked to someone at unbalanced engineering, the company sticker on the front of the car, and he said they used a porta-power? to do it and some paint+ bodywork.

After some googling it seems to be a hydraulic ram used for stuff like frame straightening, etc. ?

Car is the pictures above is Casey's. He's a member here and posts in the Western Section. Great guy I'm sure he'll be willing to help. His SN is cq55 if I remember right when I talked to him last he had a body shop do it. Original paint.
