Default Redline Goods Products Installed

Installed the following into my 1997 30th Ann. SS I am restoring. Please don't mind my 17 year old Leather Seats, those are being replaced shortly with new covers.

Shift Boot, E-Brake Boot, E-Brake Handle, Center Console Cover, and their recommened **** from Speed Dawg. Parts are Charcoal Leather with White Stitch. White ****/Orange Stripes. Charcoal matches the 97-99 Grey Interior very well. All in all it cost me about 230.00 I believe and took about 2 hours to install it all. Note - My Speed Dawg **** DID NOT fit my UMI Short Stick, the stick I am using is an Ebay Short Stick for the SLP Hurst Shifter.

I have an 00-02 Steering Wheel I am sending them this month to be wrapped as well. I will also do the Door panels in Grey/White and the swap the carpet door inserts for some Charcoal Alcantara/White.

I love that shift ****...by chance do you know how it'd fit on a Hurst?

Did you have the shift boot shortened or is it stock length?

Looks good. I remember looking for a white SS with the white leather prior to purchasing mine in 2002. One of my favorite combinations.

I don't know for sure, but I originally had a UMI short stick for my factory Hurst. It wouldn't thread at all. It threads fine on my stock stick. I ordered a short stick off of eBay and it threads down to the bottom perfectly. I still have the factory Hurst plate installed.

I ordered it 1.2" shorter. 1" shorter would be more preferable for my combo. On the E-brake boot, I also wish I had about 1" more material but I broke a lot of the brittle plastic tabs and had to get creative with my install.

The 30th SS has always been my favorite. I worked at a Chevy Dealer in High School back in 97-98 and there was one of these for nearly 36K. I said I'd always have one. I picked this one up with 72K miles and am restoring it and converting for LSX/Roadrace.
