Default Get rid of the "Trans Am" on the side, or make it silver?

Okay, now that I finally have a "looker" I need to make sure I do tasteful changes. What's the best thing to do with the "Trans Am" written on the side of the car? I haven't had a chance to take any good pics yet, but here's a quick snap of the car. Any opinions/pics would be great

I would either keep it as-is (body color) or remove it
your car is VERY clean looking the way it is, and the silver would just stick out too much.....btw damn good choice of rims and stance
less is more, my friend

Keep it or go with black. As stated above, silver will stand out too much on this color. The black will match the front fender vents.

i'd go with black and paint the lower peice of your rear bumper cover black too!t/a's look hot like that! i love my car black, but sometimes i wish it were red so i could do that, and put black stripes on the side of the cowl(ws6). if not that then i'd remove them, but either way you go your still gonna have a nice lookin' car!

if you take the trans-am lettering off people might think you have a v6. with some black Accents it will add contrast to a red car.

I've taken mine off and the moldings, and I think it looks great. What would you all think about painting the bottom part silver on a black t/a?

I disagree. The front and rear bumpers, sideskirts, and wing are all trademark Trans Am. Not to mention the exhaust note. Besides if somebody is that stupid to make that assumption... I pitty tha foo!!!

Thanks for the compliments oxyxxxtreme and 12stones! I think it's time to do some photoshop work, and see what it would like like either way. I'm kind of mixed on removing the side molding. It looks really clean, but doesn't quite fit in with the lines of the car? Bah, I don't know.

Just removed my moldings on my ws6. All I gotta say is, DO IT. Drove it to work today and a bunch of guys took a look at it and gave me their opinion over lunch. Every single person said the moldings off looked way better. I'm keeping the door emblems and swapping em for black, I just can't go as far as removing those, I love the idea of keeping it subtle though and I think along with other black accents on the car it will flow pretty nice and still not be flashy. Removing the emblems doesn't look bad, don't get me wrong, it really looks nice, just not how I want mine.

Overlay the Trans Am with silver...it'll match your rims nicely.

MBA has a very nice high polish over lay (pricey) but I have seen it in person and it looks awesome. Very unique and stands out from the crowd.

I took mine off today, and the side molding after this thread. It looks fantastic, VERY clean looking. I vote you remove them; I had black TRANSAM on a pewter car for 4 years. I like it much better now. FWIW.
