Default Customizing Interior

Wanting some opinions...

Interior now.....

Customizing Interior-lbamhfb.jpg

LT1 Pedal Covers

Silver Cluster Overlay w/ LEDs

HVAC / Headlight Silver Overlay

Sunvisor Delete Plates

Silver Door Panels (I know these are red)

Silver Trans Am Floor Mats + Cargo Mat
Customizing Interior-0lzt0an.jpg

HUMount Trans Am Face Plate w/ LED

For the cluster, can you change the color of the bulbs? I read that there is red film or something preventing a color change? It says it's only for mechanical clusters, mine's digital but the one in the picture is digital too? Where can I get one that's for a digital one?

What do you think? Is it too much silver?

looks like too much silver, i would definitely keep anything metal silver i.e. the pedal covers and a shift ****, and maybe get a shift **** boot and handbrake boot in black with yellow stitching to compliment that steering wheel. i was never a fan of different color overlays and i feel if you get the door panels in silver you'll need to do the seats to compliment them. the floor mats and deletes are legit though! lol hope this helps?

I was actually thinking of painting those horn buttons black or something, yellow looks so out of place.

I think adding that much silver into the game is a little much i would just keep everything black or paint it black like you were talking about with the horns. Btw what kind of steering wheel is that? I do like the floor mats.

Sparco Mugello

I think I'm definitely doing the cluster (maybe a custom one), door panels, pedals, HUMount and floor mats. The other overlays are overkill I think.

I have a question here. Has anybody with an aftermarket Steering wheel dealt with their insurance company over the loss of the stock airbag? I want a new steering wheel but I don't want insurance to deny any medical bills I may encounter in an accident because I didnt have an airbag in the car. If anyone has anything to say about it please share. Thanks.

I was in an accident a while back and had a non airbag aftermarket steering wheel in place of the airbag one, had no issues, I just made sure to beat the adjuster to the junkyard and grab my aftermarket one and left the stock one with airbag module in the driver seat (literally). Just be sure to wear your seatbelt. Insurance company was geico btw.

floormats, pedals, and HMU cover look good

anything more than that is too much silver IMO, if you do a gauge overlay do black with silver trans am/phoenix or something like that...subtle is better IMO

I only want the pedals because the clutch pedal rubber is gone and cost like $20

reread his post, he said he would do inserts like that but in silver, he just used that red one as it is the standard example of the inserts that is easiest to find on here.

I don't know haha, it's a lot smaller, it's easier to drive with one hand than the stock wheel on my other Firebird.
