Default Billet Aluminum Coil Brackets

I had a few requests to throw up some pics of the billet coil brackets that I have. All brackets come with the necessary stainless steel button heads for installation. I can't find brackets like these anywhere else, especially with these being billet. Most are cast. Links to the eBay listings are below the pictures.

I'm torn between spending the time and money to get stuff like this and cleaning/ painting the valve covers and all to get the engine looking clean and spiffy... Or just being lazy and throwing on some FRC's lol

Love the way this setup looks.

Do you make any Truck Coil brackets to fit on a LT-1 valve cover? I'm doing a 24X swap on a LT-1 engine next year. Those LS1 brackets look great!

I currently don't offer anything for the LT-1 valve covers. That's the first time anyone has asked me that question though! If I get much more interest in the LT-1 stuff, I'll develop a set. Thanks!

That sounds good and you might post in the LT-1/LT-4 section to see if anyone would be interested, a lot of people these days doing 24x swaps. Thanks!

Those are nice looking. Definitely think you should make a set for the LTx crowd.

Are the mounting posts on LT1 OEM valve covers? I'm not sure how I would make them, but I'm down for trying anything. Got any pics? LTx territory is very unfamiliar to me.

How would these brackets take to anodizing? I would assume they would do just fine but I am far from an expert on that..

I've had numerous customers anodize these brackets. They anodize great due to the tumbled finish which makes the surface smooth and even. I've also had customers send me pictures of them polished, painted to match their car color, etc. The tumbled finish really makes it great for any further finishing treatments.

They also look pretty good the way they are!

Oh I agree. I just kinda want to do something a little different over the winter and anodizing fits the bill I think. I just wanted to be sure before I ordered some that there wasn't a coating or finish issue that would make it a problem.

Anodizing is such a cool treatment. The place that does all of my anodizing is located in Indianapolis, IN. They gave me about forty 1" x 1" samples of all the different colors they offer. I never knew so many colors existed!

I don't know of any local places that do it. Would it be possible to order a set already anodized straight from you? If so, can you PM me details on pricing and such?

These are 99+ or would they work on a 98?

Yes. I am currently at the PRI show in Indianapolis, IN. I will get some stuff together next week and see what I can do for you.

I'm not sure if the 1998's had LS valve covers like 99-02 or not. Upload a picture of your valve cover and I'll be able to tell you!

We would like to take a moment and thank everyone for the overwhelming positive feedback received in regards to the billet coil brackets we debuted last year. We moved over 60 sets of coil brackets in just under 6 months of last year and we have some new exciting items in the works!

Thank you again to everyone who has purchased and/or helped establish these brackets as quality products and we are looking forward to an exciting 2014!

The LT1 valve-covers do not had the stud (standoff) like the LS1's. They have a small round area large enough for the bolt to seat on the metal valve cover. If you have the LT-4 composite covers (which I have) then the round area is larger (size of a quarter, roughly) for the flat button head to seat on the cover.

PS: On a side note I had no idea you were so close to me (Kokomo). I'm in Fort Wayne.

Here is a pic of my engine bay with the DELTEQ/Dyna-Spark III setup on the LT-4 composite cover.
