Default power seat conversion

so i have a 2001 Camaro and its got cloth manual seats. I have been trying to replace them with leather seats from a Camaro or TransAm, only thing is that most of them have power controls.

so my question is how hard would this be to add power seats to my car?

Do i just bolt them up and plug them in or do i need to run wires for them?

I've searched but haven't found and real answers. Any gurus out there that can help me?

if memory serves the wiring is tucked under a slit in the carpet, so just yank the old one, set new one in place, plug up and bolt down.

it's been like 9 months but I seem to remember there being wires there. also keep in mind only the driver seat is powered.

Mine was under the carpet, the entire swap was roughly 10 minutes.

This is what you need, 2 seats and a harness in between. I dont know if you have the +12 feed coming from car under you driver seat, orange and black wires?

I know my 94 Camaro had manual seats but the wire harness connector was underneath a slit in the carpet. Never actually plugged up so it to see if it worked or not though.
