I'd be interested in these two. Anything to make the center console look and feel better.

The part is discontinued by GM. It goes at the front and back of the T-Top "Bar" thing. Both of my Firebird's are missing them. I have the one front piece off because it's deformed and won't stay in.

3rd gen camaro splitters. That'd be nice to have, might actually protect the factory front lip from damage going up driveways.

Definitely need one of these. Maybe two. and maybe three, just in case.

This sounds interesting especially if we could get matched paint and if they could cancel some wind noise!

I don't see how it'd be all that difficult. Granted it'll be a much different shape than the 4th gen ones but if you use the bottom of the ground effects as the mounting points it couldn't be very hard to do. I'd make one myself but I'm finding that the cost of ABS is astronomical (I'm sure Mark has stated that a few times justifying the cost of the 4th gen splitters).

I think that's what we were having the issue with.the mounting of it since there's nothing up there and not too many people wanna drill holes in there lips (especially gen Feb ones). I was going to fab up brackets to mount to the frame but was a pain in the ***.

slowbird780, saw that and answer was redline has leather one. who are they? I think 6liter you could probably sell every center console lid you made if you were to do it. at a good price obviously, good material, and make yourself a profit. gotta make a profit or you won't be able to service the customer. I know I'd buy one if all was right..

They make lots of nice leather things for our cars and such but that leather cover ontop of a broken down lid isnt gonna do any good but noone seems to understand that. The leather is not goong to magically bring back the structure of the lid when it was new haha

I don't think anyone has the machine to produce the actual plastic part for the center console. I don't think Mark is going to spend the money on more machines.

I'll take a look at it tomm and see if there is a way we can redesign it. Factory exact, probably not due to needing injection molding but there might be a nice work around. What part of it normally breaks?
