I'm not sure how I feel. I kind of like it, but the openings for the ram air look just too big for me. Maybe it would look better in person.

I like the superhawk hood. Do you plan on painting it? Would look good if you masked off some black bird stripes and maybe the dimples of the heat extractors.

That is cool. And it looks to line up absolutely perfect from the pics.

Default paint scheme

thanks for the love guys...the hood does fit well and i am very surprised that it did..i just had to add a few washers for the hood latch to fit right, aside from that its all good..i love that fact that the ram air vents are bigger...if u see the car in the person it looks mean and they are much more functional than the OEM ram air...I do plan on painting the hood down the natural body lines of the hood so that all you can see is the cf in the center..i really don't have photoshop and i know this picture sucks..lol, but this is kinda what i want to do..if anyone is interested in a hood like this, feel free to contact me..

That hood looks amazing! Do you have any more photos?

How about an update OP? How's the hood doing? Have you painted it?

Looks great! Now you just need a carbon fiber roof from us to match . Best thing is if you ever get bored with it you can lay a stripe pattern on it and paint the rest of the hood NBM then clear the whole thing and have real CF stripes...

Not my cup of tea, but goes well with the scheme of your car.

Had a carbon fiber ws6 hood and it felt like it weighed the same as a gm ws6 hood maybe a lb or two lighter.

Looks good

That's what I would do. Unpainted hoods (even sexy CF ones) just look out of place on 4th gens to me.
