Complete Trans Am LED Conversion (Interior & Exterior)
For everyone who's asked about doing LEDs in their gauges, interior, etc., here's a write-up guide I made over on LTXTech:
http://ltxtech.com/forums/showthread...NING-PIC-HEAVY
To everyone with a slow computer/internet connection, there are a TON of pics and it will bog down, so you are warned.
I did this on my LT1 Trans Am, but almost all of it should translate over to the LS1 TAs. I know the gauge clusters will need 9 bulbs as opposed to the 7 in an LT1 TA.

Looks real good man, got any pics on how you installed the LED footwells? I've actually just purchased my strips and am wanting to do it over the weekend.
I want to have mine like yours wired to the dimmer. Did you wire it into the BCM?

Thanks! I actually just wired it into the dark green wire coming out of the back of the dimmer wheel and grounded the driver side to the steering column brace, the passenger side grounded to the bar just under the glove box door. The strips I bought have adhesive backing, so I just cleaned a good spot on the panels below with alcohol, dried, and applied.

Yeah I can't see all the pictures either, and I'm not signing up for yet another forum. From what I saw you don't need 18 pics of the cluster lol. You also need daylight pics, in the sun, for the exterior LEDs. Any light at night will look bright, that's why ALL the advertisement pics are at night.

I took so many pics of the cluster more for my own OCD than anything, since I couldn't find any decent pics of the back of the cluster with the cover off via Google searching. I can get some daylight pics and add them in, too.

Fixed all the pics on the guide, they're all hosted now and should be visible. I tried posting up all the text here, but LS1Tech posting rules are too picky about limited number of pics and text per post and blah blah. Don't feel like breaking it up since I don't have the first 2-3 posts reserved for it all.

Ah, sorry. This is it, but they don't pop up on ebay too often: http://www.ebay.com/itm/161167172793...84.m1497.l2649

Thanks guys. On the license plate bulb, there are only 2 screws holding it to the bumper cover and the bulb twists out of the cover. Putting it back in the cover was sort of a PITA with my backup cam in the way, but not too bad.
