I am going to get my windows tinted here soon and was wondering whether to go with 15% or 5% on the sides and rear. I am planning on getting 35% on the full windshield also. Any pics or opinions??

I had 45% windshield on my old SS. I say the darker the better on the sides and hatch so I think 5 or 15 would look great. Here's a pic, I thought the 45% was nice but could be a little darker, I plan to get 35% windshield for sure on my current SS once the weather breaks.

Excuse the shitty cell phone pic, but heres mine. Its 20% all around with a 5% eyebrow. Keep in mind, I have taupe interior, so it looks a little lighter then if I had black interior.

I've got 5% all around and I can't see **** out the back window at night. I have to back up with the windows down just to see out the side mirrors if anything is behind me. It looks good but annoying at night.

I have 2.5 on the back and 15 on the sides. Looks great, while also being able to see out of the sides nicely. If I did it again id put 5 on the sides probably... but I wouldn't see anything at night for sure.

do the rear hatch 5% , whatever else on the sides is fine. but the 5% on the back is the way to go

Thanks guys looks like 5% is the way to go on the hatch since its not a daily driver I'd be using every night

Apparently my windows are always down, lol. only pic i can find that they are up in. doesn't show the darkness of the sides well, but it does show how dar the back is since you almost cant see through it

My preference has always been the darker the better. Loved 5% all around (except the windshield...refuse to tint that) with the understanding that it would be difficult to see through the hatch at night.

Ended up getting a ticket for it, so I removed it all and went with 20% all around because that was the absolute limit of what you can have in GA if you have an approved exception / doctor's note. Don't like that nearly as much, however it's nice not getting the extra attention from local police.

i have 15 on sides and back, looks good, great privacy and great visibility daytime not bad at night. the curved back hatch accentuates the tint and scatters light well, no need to go pitch black, imo
