Default interior change?

thinking of changing up my interior and wanted some opinions, I have a 2000 TA with black interior, a friend of mine close by has door panels, Bpillars and rear speaker covers in gray in great condition. I was thinking about getting them but keeping my seats, carpet and headliner black, or at most get a headliner and he has sunvisors in a gray color to match the interior side panels. Just looking for opinions, thanks.
BTW door panels are perfect, no cracks, and if I get them, would do the fix before they do crack.

I'm not sure that it would look good. Also I think the black interior is the best looking interior for these cars so I'm not sure why you would want to change it

I know the grass is always greener on the other side, but I really wish I had the black interior. There are 2-3 different grey interiors, and it can be a bitch finding panels that match it something happens. Plus, grey is boring, black is sexy.

If you want a change of scenery, look at reupholstering your interior. It's fairly cheap if you do it yourself. There really isn't much to it either.

Simple things like
Swapping all interior bulbs with LEDs and in gauge cluster.
LEDs in footwell as doors open.

Gauge cluster and hvac vinyl cover thing from 6LE to start a theme.

Double din radio or tablet
sound deaden the entire car so you don't hate your car for going over smallest bumps.

Big ticket items like new seats or new seat covers.

Wrap the other miscellaneous plastic panels in vinyl/leather/suede to match your seats.

Yeah, definitely don't recommend swapping your panels to grey...

Instead here's some options (of course all on our website lol) you can pick and choose as your budget allows...

Gauge Overlays (any color, ANY thing you want done and you stare at them the most)

Seats (aftermarket or replacing your stock with a different material, different color, like grey inserts, etc...)

Door panels (the "leather" part) you can get any color/material, usually done with seats

Trim Rings (stainless surrounds for the speakers, a/c vents and cupholder)

Double DIN radio (just makes it feel a lot more modern, there are android ones for under $300 shipped that work great and we sell DD bezels)

Stuff we DON'T sell that were mentioned I agree with, mainly switching all your lights to actual red LEDs where they are orange now and then accent lights in white for places you need to see...

IMO...Do it, i have black seats with grey everything else and it adds contrast to the car instead of one solid blob of color inside.

It's an easy swap, do it. If you dont like, undo it. Could take it a step further and swap the grey leather door panel insert onto your black door panels (or vice versa). Or swap the black arm rest and black junk holder onto the grey door panels. Just play with it, lots of options.
