painted my interior black
Sorry only have night pics which make it look extremely dark. For reference the steering wheel, the radio bezel, and center console are ebony. Took about 4 hours and only 3 cans of paint. 1 can per door, and 1 for the dash.
I used duplicolor vinyl and fabric paint in satin black. It is very thick and spread perfectly
The best way to tell the difference in color is the drivers side door in the second pic is already painted black
Anyways some pics

New pics today

The paint dries quickly, I would say it took me about 4-5 hours.
Everything is holding up nicely including the leather door panels. No cracking at all or rub through. Painted my floor mats however those don't seem to be holding up that well

Also use adhesion promoter.

I had problems with the adhesion promoter, I'm not sure if it was because of the humidity or not. But it seemed like you really need to wait ten minutes between spraying with the promoter so it can dry then apply the paint. Seems like the door arm rests are going to be the area to watch, so far no problems but if I set my greasy arm down on it you can see it get shinier.
If you are doing the shades be sure you scrub them down with dawn or just dish soap like you do with the rest of the interior, use a tooth brush to agitate them and then rub them dry. I was very surprised how much gunk and grease was stuck to the factory panels in the interior
You can tell my floor mats looked like **** to begin with so I sprayed them without any scrubbing or prepping. I'm getting a few wear spots on the floor matts but it's mostly from not prepping them at all
I definitely didn't have the time or money to do the ebony swap, so I was willing to take the risk. I found a few people mention they had done this, and they painted the dash while it was in the car so I gave it a whack and it came out great. No one can even tell its not factory. Plus if I have problems it really gives me good reason to push the wife to let me spend the dough for the legit swap

Brings me another idea of using the cover as a template and having a triple pod set up in the middle like they have on subarus
