Ok here is the pricing for those interested in picking one up :

- Polished tensioner for 70$.
- Billet black anodized tensioner for $125…
- If you want the billet one polished instead of anodized, then its $160.
- The idler pulley costs $45.00

I spoke with Kory Enger at Turn Key Engine Supply.

The pulley in Poltergeists post is from TURN ONE and NOT Turn-Key... i know its confusing

the Turn One pulley can be seen on the Lingerfelter sight and they have no website.. when im back from vacation (cruising the mexican riviera right now) i will post thier phone number. The cost from TURN ONE for the PS pulley is $50.

If you find a post I did from the Good Guys car show about LS1's then you would see the Turn KEY pulley and how its different.. Havent used it so i cant vouch for the fit and finish..

Hope the helps.. well its margarita time

Steve is talking about my Power Steering pulley being from Turn One.

The tensioner and idler are from Turn Key.

Are we having fun yet??

Alright guys (Steve or Poltergeist), what am I missing here. I received the pulleys yesterday and well this just isnt going to work. What hardware should I have received for the install, so far I have 2 washers (the kind that are cut).

Btw, they they sent me 1 tensioner and 1 idler when I actually ordered 2 idlers - not sure how they could have screwed that one up since I emailed them and talked to them on the phone.

They are excellent at screwing up orders

Rob (Poltergeist) would be better to answer this as I havent installed mine yet.. but, you should have one split lock washer and one regular washer for each pulley.. the lock washer goes on the back and the regular one on the front..

Just ring them up and threaten to dispute the charges if they don't get you what you need (at their expense)..

Rob... you out there?

Thanks Steve, I think I'll go ahead and do that before I leave work today.

As for the lock washer, I couldn't get it to fit (seemed just a tad too small) on the alternator bracket. I figured there had to be a washer on the front but damn if they didn't forget even though I said - 'Dont forget to include the hardware'.

The lock washer should be just big enough to fit over the bolts. The inside diameter of the washer should be the same as the inside diameter of the bearing on the pulley. It should push the pullies out just enough to line up the belt and keep the pullies from hitting the brackets.

I used the flat washer on the idler but not the tensioner. I didn't like the look and the bolt head is the right size to hit the inner portion of the bearing and not the rest so there is no binding.

Yeah, the lock washer fits the bolt no problem, however it seems Im lacking a washer to complete this install.

oh well .... Maybe a trip to the Home Depot will help me along.
