expensive tint?
expensive tint? Well I called my tint guy to have my Camaro vert tinted. He did my truck 2 years ago for 110. Now I'm quoted 175 for both sides and little rear. Does that seem expensive? That's using 15% the guy is really good. Let me know what you think. Thanks
Well I took my mini van to see how much it would cost just for the 2 front windows all the rest of my windows are tinted from factory they want 105.00 just for my 2 front windows
Sounds a little pricey to me being that you're not dealing with normal x-large rear hatch glass (in which case that'd sound right).. But, I'm not at all aware of any challenges or changes that may come up with tinting a vert, if any. Are you sure he doesn't think it's the normal rear window? Those generally cost more due to the size.

i think i paid like 165 for my z28 a year ago, 15 all around. way back when my 95 cost around 120, probly 12 years ago. so price seems decent. as long as its done well. ive done a few windows, no way id attempt the hatch on ours, money well spent on a proffessional job there.

my guy does great window tint, taken all my cars to him the past 7 years, my camaro with 20% fronts, 10% rear and front sun stripe costed me $230.00 (ceramic) lifetime warranty, did my tahoe last year with the same tint, driver & passenger side with sun stripe $100.00. never had a issue with peeling or bubbles.

It better be Hüper Optik and/or carbon for that price. Either way let us know how it goes. I've been wanting to tint my t-tops very dark, but also be able to see out of them, maybe like 2%.

Verdad Gallardo Well I had a friend introduce me to his tinter. He had a photo catalog of all his work. Looked great. He quoted 130. His shop offers lifetime warranty. I pulled the trigger and taking it in Thursday after work. I'll update how it goes. I'm staying with car so I can watch him and compare to the other tinter. Btw I'm doing 15% he recommended it because being a vert with small rear window and dark interior it'll look darker then a fbody with hatch.
