Default e-brake part # request and question

Hey guys,

I might get flamed for this, but I have a Spicy Red 06 GTO that came with grey stitching/gauges. I am not a fan, so I have been buying new/used parts with the red stitching and I replaced the gauges.

I am looking for my last piece which is the e-brake handle with red stitching. I bought one off flea bay (used) and it is in rough shape. Not worthy to install. This unit was also my ground zero piece to see how to disassemble the thing and I have gotten frustrated with it. I am going to break it, which doesn't really matter but I would like to resell it.

Does anyone have a part number for the ebrake handle with red stitching and does it come off or is it one big unit? I read a post that if you pull the ebrake and pull up, the handle comes off. Mine must have been glued on or heat baked itself onto the metal. Let me know if you can give me some tips. Thanks!

I don't know the part number, but Redline Goods (a sponsor) might have something similar or could replicate it for you (might have to send them the old part). So you don't have to deal with worn out used ones.

Thanks for the ad, but I already talked to them. For the price, I might as well buy OEM. I found the parts #'s for all e-brake handles with the various thread colors:

92145692 - red stitch ~$98
92145693 - grey stitch ~$128
92145694 - yellow stitch ~$131
92148571 - blue stitch ~$81
92149043 - fusion (orange) stitch DISCONTINUED $N/A

If you want the black e-brake button instead of silver, this is the part #: 92145423 ~$62

I'd rather buy an OEM part myself. It wasn't meant to be an ad. I've never bought anything from them; I don't work for them; and I'm not the type of mod to promote/protect/push sponsors in that way. I was just offering a possible alternative if you couldn't find an OEM part in good condition or if you wanted to do something a little different.

No worries. I am glad I found the info I was looking for. Thanks.
