I personally think they look neat.

Night time pics to show how much it really didn't darken the lights at night.

I just used the Rustoleum lens tint. I wet sanded them before and after. I'll be clear coating them soon.

You an LS car arent you? If you want all three rear light compartments to light up while the lights are on like the attached image, check out my write up for it

Jax, It is indeed an ls car. I'll be rewiring them soon. Works been busy lately and I've been packing up to move so I really haven't had time to do much to the car.

I had to spray the tail lights, third brake light and marker lights in my kitchen due to having no space to do them else where(I have an apartment with no off street parking and no yard)

Thanks for the link though!

As long as the visibility is still good. I did mine on a previous car and after just a few light coats, it made it difficult to see if I was braking during the day.

Yeah efox, the visibility is barely compromised. This stuff did exactly what I wanted to, darkened them up enough to flow well with the black filler panel and didn't do much for reducing visible light output.

Damn son you must have been high as a kite spraying them bad boys in doors.
Maybe buy yourself a good camping light that attaches to your head, I usually end up doing all my painting at night and the head lamp has been a life saver. Usually I set myself up an enclosed area with masking paper and two walls as well. I use a cheap painters mask and still end up with overspray in my nose hairs lol.

Edit: dunno why I was thinking you said you didnt have any light outside and assumed you doing them at night.

thats how i had them on my old lt1. Wife bought black and silver inserts for it to but i totaled it before i got them. If i got anothe camaro id do it the same way again. I think the untinted reverse lights also through the cops off since i never was pulled over for them.
