Default Anyone plastidip their side molds?

Some Dick opened their door into my car and left a nice big chip in the side molds that were just painted in February.

I think I've seen a picture on here somewhere of a white T/A with black moldings, but most of us just remove them, but depending on how the painting was done you might not want to do that, if the door was painted with the moldings on the car you will likely get a visible outline of where the moldings where.

Just take it off. Will look better removed than doing that.

Forgot to mention car is red with blackbird stripes, black overlays on everything. I'm afraid if I just take em off, next time they'll hit my door instead of the molding.

i have thought about it, but seeing the cars that have just removed them, i would rather put in the work to remove them since it is a much cleaner look IMO

That's why anywhere I park at, I ALWAY park where no one will ever think about parking.

Get rid of them. Anything else you do to them besides having them repainted will look like absolute dog ****.
