No concerns really. It all will swap over. The core support area is the same between they years and all the hard mounting points in the interior are the same. One seemingly insignificant thing to watch though, There is one thicker harness that passes through on the passenger side around the heater box area you need to be sure is sealed right after you install it. Its just a large rubber grommet that has a length of rubber on both sides sealing to the wires. There is a small water drain around that area for rain run off, but the way GM designed the water to channel to the drain, water drips off the cowl and onto that rubber grommet. If its not sealed right or there is a cut in or anything, you will have wet passenger floor when it rains.
Other than that one thing, it should be a drama free swap over.

I can't tell yet. Not that far into dismantling it....
But from the looks of it the majority of the damage is up high.
The guy had a truck lock it's brakes up in front of him and the car hit the rear bumper and under the bumper/bed
It took out the ps reservoir possibly the pump too and I know it damaged part of the fuse block.
I'm busy pulling the lt1 from the 93 cause I have people coming all next week to buy various parts

Could do something like this as well for the airbox if you wanted to use the ls1 type lid.

So the ls1 radiator will mount right up to the lt1 support?
For some reason in my minds eye I keep thinking they're different.
Eh, a long way away from that anyhow.....
I'm sure I'll have questions along the way if I can't locate an answer here through search

Hmmm. That's interesting.
I was under the impression that since I'm swapping everything ls1 related under the hood that the ls1 air box would sit in its stock location??
I figured I'd get a ram air hood cause I wasn't sure if the 93 hood would work or even fit with the ls air box

You may have been right....
Steering rack looks busted.
May have bent the k member too....is there a way to measure to see if it's bent??

Good luck with the build looks like a fun project although a lq4 swap is easier to do with the ls k member and your looking at around 500hp n/a then dynotune ls1 nos kit 500$ n ur up to 650 or 700. You can pick up a lq4 or lq9 notor from your local junkyard for about 300 or less bucks. or stick to your goals buddy looks good.

Yeah I looked around and I could have gotten a lq4 for $350 but then I'd still need a 4l60e computer, all the wiring, k member, etc....
This way I have the motor, wiring, better interior, dash that's in one piece, better brakes, better rear end, etc, etc plus I don't have to run around gathering parts
Took everyone's advice and found a donor car.
Only things I'm gonna do is find a ls6 intake, 243 heads, and a different cam

The ls k member should work i believe but trust me the iron block will hold 1500 to 2000hp with stock crank it will hold 800 i believe and your pushing 500hp+ then juicing it with a switch and your at 600 to 700. Im looking myself to do a swap soon. The ls1 intake will fit too. You already have ur donor car sell your parts off that youll have enough for a dynotune nitrous kit 75-150 shot for 500$ like i said those engine can handle nos n a beating vs ls1 n ls2 aluminium engines are good up to around 800-1000 hp

Any ideas where I can get the under hood fuse boxes for the ls1 harness?
I'm talking about the physical plastic pieces...
Can't seem to find replacements...
Salvage wants me to buy the whole harness

Find a part car/donor car to salvage every thing you need then sell off what you have left (i always see them on craigslist) . Sadly i always see f body's getting parted out or being sold as whole part cars. Considering what you might be able to sell the left over part car for after you take what you need it wont cost you much in the end, you might break even maybe.
