Then, you'll need the actual paint correcting polishes. I ordered mine as a complete set from Adams. It comes with the two paint correcting polishes and the matching pads. The orange paint correcting polish is more abrasive and is to be used first with the matching orange pad. It removes more of the heavy marring and swirl marks. Next, you'll use the white polish, which is more of a finishing polish. You'll use that with the white pad. All of the Adams products are very straight forward and color matching, which makes it great for someone new to paint correction. Before I did my friend's truck, I had only done it one other time, and that was on my WS6, which turned out just as great as the truck did. I would highly recommend watching "how to" videos on YouTube in regards how to use a dual action polisher. Junkman's videos are what I watched and they were very helpful. Other than that, it's just a matter of getting in there and doing it. The most important thing, and the best advice I can give, would be to make sure you have the vehicle fully cleaned and clay bar the entire car to make sure that there is nothing left on the paint, as you don't want to be running a polisher across the paint if it's contaminated. Also, take your time and make as many passes as you need to in order to achieve fully correction. You'll learn through experience how much pressure to apply and when to apply that pressure. The second time around was much easier than when I did my car.

do you have a link to the adam's kit?
thanks
This is what you need. Just get a dual action polisher, some dawn dish soap, a clay bar, and some good microfiber towels and you'll be good to go.

Thanks I plan on doing my personal vehicles. I was still looking into getting the porter cable 7424xp. But if you say the harbor freight one is holding up I may try that one. I want to get the car good and polished before before we go to Crusin the Coast in Oct.
