I would "take" how it is right there, I wouldn't buy one from the factory though

I agree with "alexWS6". Looks like some type cross between a Grand Am, Cavalier, with a little bit of late 90's 6 cylinder mustang thrown in.

Regardless of what the original GTO was meant to be, the new one was supposed to somewhat inherit and run with the way we see the old GTO now. And it doesn't even come close. I think it looks like a POS cavalier with a nice motor in it. I don't care what rims you put on that. It's gonna need a major body kit makeover for it to start to look nice, IMHO.

Nice seeing you again Tony.......... the car sounded awsome...... i wonder who's car that is in the back ground?????

Oh its mine...
I was so disappointed with my numbers....... damn green machine...... it might be time for a big shot...... or a way smaller pulley. MTI was awsome for letting me use there parking lot to ad washers to my stand offs and adjust belt tension.

I cant stand the GTO myself..Wheels or no wheels! Its funny when I see 30 GTO's on the lot by my house, and no one buys them..Gee, I wonder why?

I agree. They should change the body a little more to make it stand out more from the Monaro. All they changed was the front clip. It needs more agressive looking quarters and rear on it.

I hope the 2005's have a spoiler delete option and a ballzy hood, the 04's are hella bland. I don't like the offset of those wheels either.

The current GTO has a ****-*** appearance package. The drive train is excellent, and the interior is great. WTF would possess them to make it so plain-jane? At least give it adamn hood worth looking at. Those wheels do look good.

It's funny when I look at the photos of the GTO in the posts above, my eyes are drawn to the WS6, and the Corvettes in the background first.

GM didn't design the 04 GTO, it's the Aussies Holden with a Pontiac grill. it was a "quick get the GTO name out there" marketing ploy. In '06 the will redesign the GTO and create a whole new frame for it, hopefully it will look more retro....
