Best would be the Blackbird lighting solutions with morimoto HID kit. If you want pm me and I can send you links to want I have. I love them. Pricey but worth it.

I have the depo whistlered lights. I picked them up off amazon for $99 awhile ago. They are absolutley miserable at night. I wouldn't feel safe daily driving the car through the country at night time.

I don't think you got authentic depo lights then or you bought them from someone who painted the entire housing black. That statement does not describe any of the depo whistlered lights I have heard of, especially telling is that $99 price tag

My new lights should be here today. I'll update but I got the ones that jax showed me from Amazon. Bastards were 150$ shipped because of the shipping and for whatever reason, tax. Not understanding how they tax you. eBay only does that when you buy from the same state.

They are 100% Depo headlights. It is printed on the outside lens. The back of the housings are not painted black. I am just stating the the light output is greatly diminished compared to stock. I know this because I have the headlights and not basing opinions on heresay.

Amazon had some kind of fire sale on the lights and I bought them at a good time. They are currently priced at $130 and pictured as partial whistlered but come with housing painted less the back.

I can't really notice the difference jumping between my 2 at night. I've got the depos too and the factory ones cleaned up on my DD.

I guess I am used to modern headlights at this point. The 600 miles I drove last year I noticed how bad they sucked at night. Boosted guys always stirring the pot!

Running the same bulbs as you had in your original lights, or the bulbs the housings came with? I'll bet the included bulbs are pretty crappy.

If mine comes with bulbs, I'll ise them till I buy more. The current situation is so bad that it's scary to drive at night with no lines in the road.

Looks awesome, i thought it was my car when scrolling through on my phone earlier. What headlights were on there before?, they look like stock that someone painted the whole housing black

Hey btw if you want a new red bumper to get rid of that cracked one you got let me know, I'm replacing mine with the DH one once 6le finishes prototyping and ships it out in a few months.

If you were closer I wouldnlove to get the bumper cover!

But yea, looks like stock ones that were Fd up.

And whoever said they would be scared to drive with these in a country road needs to get better bulbs. I just tried them out and only issue was the fact I could only see 5 foot in front of the car till I raised them. Now I can see everything and the brights are awesome. And I inly got the normal lights that are 2$ more than the cheapest ones.

I'm not up on the fancy hid style, still rocking the old school lighting. And if your car is loud enough, you'll scare away anything on those back country roads haha.

Actually driving the car to work at 3:40 AM was very pleasant. Need to align them better but otherwise it's great.

If you want brighter bulbs and want to stick with Halogen, look into HIR bulbs.

Stock
-- low: 9006
-- high: 9005

HIR
-- low: 9012
-- high: 9011

Might need slight trimming of a lock tab on the bulb for it to fit, but they will fit and still use the optics properly for a proper beam pattern with increased output.

See here on what to trim:
