Corbeau CR1 material/foam durability??
If so, how has this material (AND the foam/cushions underneath it) hold up?
Any thin/worn out spots or crushed/warped cushions/bolsters?
Did the bottom cushion 'suspension' collapse, and fall apart like it did on my 'great' Recarco?
I ask because I do NOT want to go through the same waste of coin I did with my one, driver's side Recaro SPD, which is turning out to be the WORST, P.O.S. garbage seat (as far as longevity/durability is concerned).
And this is with what they considered at the time to be their 'toughest' 'Avus' fabric.
I think one of the crapola, Pep Boyzz, APC ricer seat's cushions/bolsters/fabric would have held up better, for 1/6th the cost!!

(So much for Teutonic 'superiority'/"quality". )
Thanks in advance.
I guess anything will be better than the ripoff, fall apart if you look at them wrong, Recaros.
Also, at least Corbeau offers new covers and foam/cushions IF theirs do wear out, Recaro, on the other hand, will tell you to go pound sand as they neither offer replacement parts, NOR will they warranty ANYTHING, after charging more than almost anyone else for their inferior recliner seats!!

I also frequent a local restoration shop that use to be performance oriented and they have been using the same set of corbeau cr1 seats as desk chairs for close to ten years now. The bolsters on the bottom are pushed out from the wide load customers but they are not flappy and still have good form and fit to everything
Also, if you haven't bought them yet, consider purchasing the Wide verison. Take some measurements or call around to find a local Corbeau distributor that may have some in stock to see how comfortable they are.

THANKS!
Yes, I am buying them new, and yes, I was planning on ordering them in the wide if only because I drive this car EVERY day, even in the winter when I sometimes wear a thick North Face down 'bubble/Michelin Man' jacket, so I do need the room, even though I'm not too heavy.
(A very tight 'fitting' sparco shell like their; Pro 2000/Evo/Light would NEVER work for me on the street.)
