Default Glowshift & Dynotune Gauges

I have searched, and read just about every thread on these gauges on ls1tech. I ordered a set of glowshift elite 10s, nitrous pressure and fuel pressure. I am contemplating shipping them right back for a refund, and getting some red digital gauges from dynotune. Can anybody give me any experience they have with glowshift gauges, or even dynotune gauges. Thanks!

I helped my buddy install glowshift gauges, and they were very cheap. 2 sending units didn't make it 3 months. I haven't heard of dynotune so I can't verify their quality.

I have always had autometer and never had an issue. But if funds weren't the issue, I would go with AEM or Speedhut gauges.

Good to know. Everything i have seen has been mixed reviews. Part of me wants to give em a shot, the other part is telling me to send em back incase they don't work and get all of my money back while i can.

From my experience, don't waste your time unless you need them right away. I know the other makers are at least twice as much, but they are worth it.

I have a Glowshift electric fuel pressure gauge, and it's been on the car for about a year and has never given me any problems. While the quality is not as good as my AEM wideband gauge, it was by no means "poor" quality, and it serves it's purpose, all while doing so at a fraction of the cost of other competitor gauges.

i had the glowshift nitrous pressure and analog wideband gauges...their quality wasnt anything to write home about but the gauges were as accurate as the wideband used for the dyno and the bottle gauge. They looked great too. I wasnt concerned with the cheap feel because lets face it Im not caressing my gauges. My only gripe was i bought the analog wideband instead of the digital because air fuel fluctuates so much id prefer to see an actual digital display rather than guesstimate needle position

i also have the glowshift 7 color electric gauges. trans temp and fuel pressure. installed them about 2 months ago. no issues with them. they seem well made. first gauges i bought and installed so dont have experience with other gauge companies. the wiring was easy and instructions simple to follow. they were alittle pricey.

Just put in glowshift Trans temp, air/fuel (show gauge had to fill the third vent), fuel pressure in my trans am.

All filling in the air vents on the dash. Mounting them was easy, wiring them was easy and I like I can change the light color.

So far I like them. They have not fluttered or gone bonkers like some other brands I used in the past.

Thanks for all of the info guys. I have decided to send them back and get a refund. I don't want to take any chances, and the dynotune gauges look better too IMO.
